Joanne + Joe | Water Works, Philadelphia

Joanne approached me in hopes for a last minute engagement shoot for her and her fiance Joe a couple weeks ago. They’re getting married THIS summer and hoped to do their shoot the upcoming weekend as the weather looked promising. Typically I don’t schedule engagement shoots on the weekends due to weddings, but being that it’s still winter, my schedule was lighter than usual so we were able to fit it in! Though a little chilly, the sunset was a good one and I loved getting to know Joanne and Joe as we trekked through Water Works in Philly and made our way to the front of the Art Museum. We couldn’t believe how crowded it was in that area! Apparently everyone got the memo about the good weather and wanted to soak it in while they could. We were able to find some gorgeous areas to work with though where the crowds weren’t as heavy.

And can we just talk about Joanne’s adorable sweater dress!? These two are so beautiful together, I loved getting to shoot such a special time in their lives.
