Lori + Brett | The English Manor

While on a batchelorette party get away in Seacrets, MD, Lori met the man she was going to spend the rest of her life with. Brett was on a guys get away weekend and they just clicked from night one. From then, they were inseparable. Lori stated, ‘The day after I met him, I knew I was going to marry him’. Well folks, when you know, you know! On Cinco De Mayo 2018, Brett took Lori on a walk for the beach in Asbury Park and before he could even get the words out, he began to cry. Lori thought he was either going to break up with her, or propose!

I didn’t get to meet Lori until a couple weeks before the wedding, but once I did, I knew I would love working with these two. Just getting to talk with her that day, she had such a fun personality that was infectious. They were truly the sweetest couple to spend the day with.

Starting at the Double Tree Hotel in Tinton Falls, Lori and her girls hustled to get ready for the big day. My favorite part about this was the confetti toss! (See pics for reference) The poor housekeeper who had to clean all that up.. yikes. But it was totally worth it for the picture. After the girls were perfect from head to toe in beautiful blush gowns, they headed to the ceremony. The ceremony took place in a beautiful church - The St. James Episcopal Church, and they were gleaming the entire time! The look on Brett’s face as she walked up the aisle was priceless. During their portrait session, I seriously could of photographed them for hours! It’s always the couples that say, ‘we’re not photogenic!’ that end up being the most photogenic. They were so easy to shoot - laughing, giggling, smiling from ear to ear. They didn’t require much direction at all, as they easily fell into each others arms with ease. If there wasn’t a party to head into, I certainly could of kept on going. The night was followed by hours of dancing at the beautiful and timeless English Manor.
